Balancing Interests In Intellectual Property Law

Wednesday, 26th November 2009

"Of immense importance in the development of legislation which will address this area of the law is the incorporation of Alternative Dispute Resolution as an integral means of resolving disputes related to Intellectual Property Rights alongside of and perhaps in preference to litigation. This is a useful mechanism which provides for the use of mediation and arbitration as fast, cost effective, and less painful methods of solving problems; and which are used successfully in the United kingdom and The United States of America to resolve issues in every sphere of civil law with huge degrees of success."
