Introduction to International Adjudication

<p style="margin-top: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-left: 0cm; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify"><span style="font-size: 11pt">Organised by the</span><span style="font-size: 11pt">&nbsp;Centre of Construction Law, King&#39;s College London<br />&nbsp;<font class="Apple-style-span" color="#333333">in conjunction with the</font>&nbsp;Dispute Resolution Board Foundation&nbsp;<br /><font class="Apple-style-span" color="#333333">and in association with the</font>&nbsp;Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), Adjudication Society, Society of Construction Law, FIDIC and the ICC&nbsp;</span></p><p style="margin-top: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-left: 0cm; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify">&nbsp;</p><p style="margin-top: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-left: 0cm; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify">This conference will bring together speakers from around the world to explore how the different types of Dispute Boards are being used and might be used in the future from both users&#39; and funders&#39; point of view, the various procedures available and the procedural rules published by the main institutions, and the significant issues that arise in practice.</p><p style="margin-top: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-left: 0cm; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify">&nbsp;</p><p style="margin-top: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-left: 0cm; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify">The programme includes presentations sharing the experience of users, examination of the issues by expert&nbsp;<strong>lawyers, Adjudicators and Dispute Board members, and a debate comparing the pros and cons of Dispute Review Boards and Dispute Adjudication Boards</strong>. Sessions will cover the basics in the half day on Day 1, followed by exploration and discussion of the issues in greater depth on Day 2.</p>
