The development of ADR is one of the strategic goals for the Ministry of Justice in years 2007 – 2009. Therefore a working group composed of ADR experts and government representatives has elaborated a draft of a political planning document which aims at promoting the use of mediation in civil disputes. In this document such mediation models as pure mediation, court – internal mediation, court – annexed mediation and integrated mediation are analyzed. The draft of this document is available in Latvian at www.mk.gov.lv.
